Each of us is a product of God’s creation. Even with all the diversity among humans, we all have one major attribute in common. We are all called by God for His glory. Not all of us though claim the Lord as our God.
Bring all who claim me as their God, for I have made them for my glory. It was I who created them. Isaiah 43:7
It’s recorded in Isaiah several times where the Lord says “I am the Lord” or a similar phrase.
God doesn’t explain Himself or try to prove Himself. He simply declares Himself. He states what He has done and what He can do.
This is one of the things I like about the Bible. We either have to take it at face value and believe God or reject it.
The first part of this chapter in Isaiah described how God protected His people Israel. In the last days, God will gather these people.
Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will gather you and your children from east and west. I will say to the north and south, Bring my sons and daughters back to Israel from the distant corners of the earth. Isaiah 43:5-6
The Jewish nation as a whole will continue to reject Jesus as their Messiah. They will do that right up until the middle of the tribulation period. God still has a call upon their lives, though.
But you are my witnesses, O Israel!” says the Lord. “You are my servant. You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, and understand that I alone am God. There is no other God—there never has been, and there never will be. Isaiah 43:10
God declared that He is the Lord.
I, yes I, am the Lord, and there is no other Savior. Isaiah 43:11
The Lord then compared His predictions with all those of the other so-called gods.
First I predicted your rescue, then I saved you and proclaimed it to the world. No foreign god has ever done this. Isaiah 43:12
During the period Isaiah was prophesying about, Jesus had already raptured the church. Thus making Israel the only witness for God left on the earth.
You are witnesses that I am the only God, says the Lord. Isaiah 43:12
The small nation of Israel has survived from its inception with Abraham. And God will protect it until the very end. While many other nations mentioned in the Bible no longer exist.
The reason for that? They were called by God and no one can change that.
“From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.” Isaiah 43:13

Before the creation of the universe including the earth we live on, was eternity. When life is over as we know it, we enter into eternity. And through it all, the Lord said, “I am the Lord”
You are Called by the Lord
When you understand that you are called by God and accept Jesus as your Savior. He said, no one can snatch you out of His hand. No one can rob you of your salvation.
I know many believe, that once you receive the Lord, you can never lose your salvation. And I don’t write these articles to make a denominational doctrinal stand.
With that said, I do know when the Apostle Paul wrote most of the New Testament. He instructed us on how we should live and maintain our life of Christianity.
Therefore, there is only one way anyone can miss out on what God has called us to. That is to choose to walk away from Him.
When tough times come, remember the Lord is always there for you. And if you have walked away from Him in the past. He is waiting with open arms for you to come back to Him.
