Worship the Lord God. The Bibles say in the ten Commandments that we should worship only God. The Bible gives us many reasons why. Namely, because He loves us. He sent his Son, Jesus to die on the cross for us. He rose from the grave and is now in heaven praying for each of us.
Jesus condensed all the laws of the Old Testament into two commands. Love God and love each other. Therefore we must worship the Lord our God.

David the writer of Psalm 40 offered plenty of reasons why we should put our trust in the Lord. He knew that God would never fail him. And we can know that as well. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord. Psalm 40:3 Have … Read more
The Lord established the altar back in the Old Testament. Yet it still remains a special place to meet Him. Of course, our sacrifices today are much different than they were back then. In Number 7, Moses set up the Tabernacle and anointed it. He also set it apart as holy along with all its … Read more

Resurrection Sunday, or Easter, is the climax of Holy Week. Jesus’ resurrection is the most important event of Christianity. The very foundation of ALL Christian doctrine hinges on the truth of this event. The believers in the early church rapidly multiplied which also produced some rumblings of discontent. It is at this point we are introduced to Stephen and his short-lived story. Here’s what was happening. The Greek-speaking believers complained, saying that their widows were being discriminated against in the daily distribution of food. So the apostles decided … Read more
The religious leaders questioned the Lord while He was preaching and teaching in the temple. They wanted to know by whose name or authority Jesus was doing what He did. They demanded, “By what authority are you doing all these things? Who gave you the right?” Luke 20:2 This wasn’t the only time Jesus spoke … Read more
What does it mean to be cleansed by the blood of Jesus? John 9 contains a very interesting story. It centered around a man physically blind whom Jesus healed. In this chapter, the Lord indicated that the Pharisees were spiritually blind. Of course, these Jewish leaders were not amused by what Jesus said. Some Pharisees … Read more
This song has a distinct chorus and we don’t have to guess what it is. Twenty-six times the Psalmist repeated, “His faithful love endures forever.” Twelve times he said, “give thanks to the Lord, or give thanks to Him.” Give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever. Psalm 136:26 This Psalm … Read more
