Grace

Common Christian teaching is that grace is unmerited mercy (favor). That God gave to humanity by sending his Son, Jesus Christ, to die on a cross. Thus securing man’s eternal salvation from sin. Within Christianity, there are differing concepts of how grace is attained.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence. So that we may receive it along with mercy to help us in our time of need.  James 4:6 But He gives more. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives it to the humble

Beloved, God’sgrace is  freely given and undeserving support that He gives us. So that we might respond to His call to share a relationship with Him and receive salvation. God’s grace does not take away from, or restrict us. Instead, it helps us overcome sin, which is the true hindrance to our freedom.

The Law Of The Old Testament is our schoolmaster

How does the law of the Old Testament fit into our lives today? When we are in Christ we are not bound by the law. Because of what Jesus accomplished for us we now live by grace. Paul however explained to us how the law and God’s promise (grace) work together. Why, then, was the … Read more
